THE MINUTES OF FRANT PARISH COUNCIL PLANNING MEETING HELD AT ERIDGE PARISH HALL ON MONDAY 3 NOVEMBER 2008 AT 19:30

Present: Councillors Hall, Harris, Hewes and Rowland.
Also in attendance: one member of the public.

Cllr. Hewes was elected as Chairman for the meeting.

1.             TO RECEIVE APOLOGIES AND REASON FOR ABSENCE
Apologies received from Cllrs. Crookshank, Gray Mrs Howell, Mrs Myers and Mrs Scarborough; reasons noted and accepted.

2.             DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
None.

4.             TO MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT PLANNING APPLICATIONS RECEIVED
It was resolved to respond to the planning application as follows:

WD/2008/2544/F 2 Cokers Down Cottage, Dundale Road, Bells Yew Green – single storey rear extension, 3 dormer windows in roof area to provide new bedrooms/bathroom, 2 velux windows to front, single storey block of garages.

Frant Parish Council supports this application.

5.             To note decisions from Wealden District Council.
The following applications have been approved:
WD/2008/2255/F – summerhouse in rear garden at Rushlye Oast, Bells Yew Green.
WD/2008/2182/F – alterations and extensions at Woodside Lodge, Wadhurst Road.
WD/2008/1870/F – car hire/courier and delivery company at Broomfield, Bells Yew Green.
Condition applied that premises should not be open for business except between 7am – 10pm Monday to Saturday and 9am – 6pm on Sundays.

The following application has been refused:
WD/2008/1865/F – change of use to Indian take-away at Broomfield, Bells Yew Green.

Application WD/2008/1893/F for a replacement dwelling at Bayham Farmhouse, has been withdrawn.
